IT Service Owner

This dynamic role offers you the chance to engage in a mix of operational tasks, projects, and programs while collaborating with teams like Risk, Cyber Security, Developers and Project Managers. You'll have access to tools and training to ease your transition and support your career growth.
As an IT Service Owner you'll oversee the delivery and support of IT services, acting as the single point of contact for these services. Your work will align with ITIL's Service Lifecycle phases: Service Strategy, Design, Transition, Operation and Continual Improvement.

What will you do?
• Oversee and maintain effective control of end-to-end IT applications and services, including Dev, UAT, Production and Contingency environments
• Ensure smooth operation and continuous improvement of assigned IT services
• Adhere to governance processes and maintain compliance with FIM requirements, IT controls and established procedures
• Proactively plan service needs, such as capacity upgrades or evergreening, while regularly communicating service performance and benefits to the business
• Act as a primary contact or escalation point for service-related tasks requested by stakeholders and other teams
• Collaborate with key stakeholders, including other Service Owners, POD team members, Risk & Control Officers, Infrastructure Leads, vendors, SSP Leads, CCO Tech colleagues and Group teams like Cyber Security
• Delegate tasks (e.g. information requests or regular reviews) to POD team members, consolidate responses and communicate with requesters
• Regularly review inventory tools to ensure accurate service and application information
• Prioritize issue remediation and maintain compliance with IT controls

Requirements:

• At least 3 years experience working in either IT Helpdesk at senior level or IT Service Management or infrastructure / software support
• Good knowledge of ITIL methodologies or can demonstrate use of such – mostly in the area of SLM, Service Continuity, Information Security Management, Change, Incident & Problem management
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationship with stakeholders and colleagues from other teams
• Team player and adaptable to change
• Basic knowledge of IT technologies, their components and their operational environments
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Linux or Database such as Oracle or Java
• Fast learner, able to work on your own but also as a team
