We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:

Senior Non-Financial Risk Manager

Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of the Finance Risk and Control governance (e.g. RCMMs, or locally equivalent forums) and the RCA refresh and update of RCAs with Risk Owners, Rick Stewards and Control Owners as required (annual requirements of trigger event)
• Improve Global RCA assessment including calibration of risk assessment and read across of issues
• Engage with the Global Finance NFRO Programme team and support the delivery of NFRO programme requirements aligned to the Finance COO
• Identify, document and monitor Issues and Actions, ensuring timely management of issues with Helios as well as supporting a proactive culture for raising issues in timely basis
• Drive the delivery of offective Finance COO Risk and Control Governance. Provide Quality Assurance and oversight on the governance reporting. Cater to ad hoc reporting requirements
• Track the status of open issues/actions and audit points, help improve data quality & consistency (e.g. data corrections made once, centrally)
• Support risk control data capture in Helios (and related tools) and control owners, control office and Assurance team with issues & actions tracking and reporting

Requirements:

• Experience in working in Operational Risk, Control Office or Audit Function would be an advantage
• Detailed and hands on experience with assessments of risks and control
• Prior experience of producing management reporting
• Exceptional drive, commitment and focus on operational excellence
• Strong communication skills including verbal, business writing and effective presentation skills
• Demonstrate initiative and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple and competing priorities
• Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley compliance procedures (preferable)
