We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:

RPG Programmer / Analyst-Programmer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain RPG programs (RPG II, RPG III, RPG IV, SQLRPG, Full free RPG)
• Design and implement DB2 tables, views, and indexes
• Manage job definitions, job queues, and output queues on IBM I / iSeries system
• Ensure object security and manage IFS
• Work with XML and JSON data formats
• Utilize Change Management Systems or Version Control based on IBM I and/or RDi
• Collaborate in an Agile environment
• Analyze and solve complex technical issues
• Communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken
• (Optional) Utilize Spanish language skills in communication

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior RPG Programmer / Analyst-Programmer
• Strong technical skills in RPG programming and DB2
• In-depth knowledge of IBM I / iSeries system
• Proficiency in XML and JSON
• Experience with Change Management Systems or Version Control
• Ability to work autonomously and in an Agile environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English; Spanish language skills are a plus
• Knowledge of banking and payments systems
