Release Manger

Responsibilities:

What will you do?
• Standardizing and automating our Release Management process by using templates and shared libraries
• Using automation to create and manage artifacts and evidence required by the Change and Release Management processes
• Using Observability tools to validate the deployment process, including the design and implementation of additional logging, monitoring and alerting to prevent user impact
• Collaborating with stakeholders at various levels across Cybersecurity and IT teams to develop and maintain solutions
• Investigate and deliver innovation within the Cybersecurity team for both BAU and strategic projects
• Assist with the training, development and mentoring of colleagues within the Cybersecurity DevOps community
• Prepare documentation and keep it up to date

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of the Release Management process
• Skills with CI/CD tools: GitHUB, Jenkins, Nexus, GAR, SNOW (Groovy knowledge, be able to write shared Jenkins libraries)
• Skills with Automation / Configuration / Infrastructure as Code tools: Ansible, Terraform, Helm
• Good understanding of the Vulnerability Management processes
• Good understanding of the Change Management processes

Nice to have:
• Implementing observability – logging, monitoring and alerting on enterprise infrastructure – Application Dynamics, Splunk, xMatters
• Understanding of technologies deployed at a large scale in a global IT enterprise
• Working in an Agile team – managing work in Jira and engagements in Jira Service Desk, incident and change management with ServiceNOW
• Experience of coding, scripting (bash, Python), SQL (MS SQL, PostgreSQL)
• Experience working with Audit and Compliance requests and procedures
• Experience taking on Scrum Master role or in managing Jira Boards and task prioritization
