We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:

Senior QA Automation Tester

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop automated tests scripts and frameworks, ensuring they are reusable, maintainable, and efficient
- Collaborate with cross-functional team, including Backend, Frontend and DevOps, to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality standards
- Define and implement testing strategies, test plans, and test cases for both API, UI and data pipelines
- Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with the development team for prompt resolution
- Test Jira tickets according to acceptance criteria
- Review code, design, and test scripts to maintain high standards of quality and ensure the reliability of our product
- Continuously improve and innovate testing processes, introducing best practices and industry standards
- Participe in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning with estimates and insights

Requirements:

- University Degree (or above) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of commercial experience in QA Automation
- Good experience with Java with microservice architecture
- Strong proficiency in Cucumber
- API testing experience
- Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG
- Knowledge of TDD, BDD
- Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Maven
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on maintaining high standards
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to spot rectify issues promptly
- Strong foundation in Agile methodologies and testing practices
- Good written and spoken English communication skills
