We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:

Application Support

Responsibilities:

What you’ll do:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide support on Trading system in DevOps methodology
• Assisting with systems integrations
• Managing tickets with system query and ensuring and providing the resolutions
• Identifying and resolving technical issues
• Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures
• Preparing maintenance plans and upgrading schedules for the system if need
• Communicate with business user, to resolve production incidents and queries
• Provide Application incident on-call support during off business hours
• Provide Weekend/Public Holiday Application Support per BAU needs

Requirements:

• A university graduate with degree in computer science or a related discipline
• Knowledge or working experience on Application Support or Development, preferably in an enterprise or a global environment
• Strong problem solving skills
• Excellent team player with ability to work under minimal supervision
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, should be able to communicate directly to Business User and onshore partners
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, multi-roles and time management skills
• Experience of Windows/Linux/DB2/Oracle/MQ/IBM Websphere
• Hand-on experience with HTML, JavaScript, Java, Spring, J2EE, MVC and DB2 / PostgreSQL technologies
• Good command of written and spoken English

What additional skills will be good to have?
• Good financial knowledge and business sense would be an advantage
• Knowledge or experience in AWS Cloud technologies adoption is a plus
