Responsibilities:
Assist the programme & governance team by enabling the flow of work through the programme and overseeing the management of end-to-end outcome processes.Ensure financial governance is in place, working to ensure costs are fully managed and tracked for all teams, outcomes, and at an overall programme level.
Establish and maintain formal and informal effective programme governance, including agile ceremonies, working groups, and other meetings ensuring supporting MI is complete, accurate, and timely.
Support the maintenance and standard adherence of the delivery management and other programme management tools, becoming the point person for any queries.
Work with the central cyber–Portfolio PMO’s to ensure that the Programme Events do not clash with others, and that cadence of planning and reporting is maintained.
Prepare and present clear, accurate, and timely informal and formal programme reporting (status, progress, RAID), appropriate for various stakeholder audiences.
Drive a proactive risk resolution mindset and support with the identification and articulation of mitigation plans for issues, through root cause methodology.
Provide additional support as needed to help team members and leaders minimize execution risk and maintain clear and effective program oversight and governance.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar Project Management Office position, supporting large-scale programmes, with excellent analytical, presentation, and reporting skills. The ideal candidate for this role will have the following knowledge and experience:Experienced PMO Analyst with 3-5 years of experience in RAG reporting, Financial Management, Capacity/Demand Planning, Roadmaps, and Financial reporting.
Experience working with or coordinating teams working according to Agile methodologies.
Understanding of financial planning.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface across various stakeholder levels.
Experienced problem solver with excellent analytical skills in a project-based environment.
Process-driven approach, great attention to detail, self-motivated, and well-organized.
Excellent spoken and written English with a keen eye for detail.
Exceptional organizational skills and stakeholder management.
