We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:

QA & Test Manager

Responsibilities:

- Building a high-performance team in accordance with quality assurance (QA) principles
- Supervise and directly direct the activities of the QA team, ensuring standards (Quality Assurance) are met
- Escalation point for software problems and concerns
- Support the production line (development, testing and deployment), ensuring that delivered digital results meet business requirements and are suitable for release to customers
- Manage and coordinate QA testing activities in collaboration with other teams
- Ensure product line QA testers use available testing tools and processes
- Ensure QA testing scope is understood, agreed upon and achieved across all programs
- Allocate/evaluate resources to support various activities
- Evaluating and validating estimates, expressing any concerns
- Ensuring that the project meets business and customer standards, raising appropriate issues or improvements in the requirements/testing phases

Requirements:

- Excellent knowledge of the testing process, digital channels and customer expectations
- Experience working in QA related roles such as Quality Assurance (QA) / Lead / Manager
- Good knowledge of design methodologies, frameworks and best practices
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working with these techniques
- Knowledge of testing tools such as Jira and Confluence
ISTQB qualification is an added advantage
- Excellent relationship management skills to satisfy a wide range of internal and external customers with conflicting priorities
- Pragmatic decision making, ability to make clear assessments based on various factors such as commercial aspects, risk, customer experience; establish implications and make recommendations as needed.
- Highly developed communication skills, both written and oral, to clarify complex or technical issues.
- High level of resilience and self-discipline
- Strong analytical skills and experience - excellent attention to detail and ability to see things through to completion
- Ability to quickly understand customer and operational needs, such as risk
- Experience in managing people - motivating and inspiring others to achieve excellence
