We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:

Java Backend Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable and efficient backend applications using Java technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, QA engineers, and product managers, to design and implement robust and reliable backend solutions.
• Optimize application performance by conducting code reviews, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing performance improvements.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues, providing timely resolutions and ensuring the smooth operation of backend systems.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Java Backend Developer with at least 3 years of hands-on development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming language and its related frameworks, such as Spring or Hibernate.
• In-depth knowledge of backend development principles, including RESTful APIs, server-side architecture, and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Understanding of software development best practices, including code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and debug complex backend issues.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
• Proactive attitude, self-motivated, and willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
