We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:

Java Backend Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable and efficient backend applications using Java technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, QA engineers, and product managers, to design and implement robust and reliable backend solutions.
• Optimize application performance by conducting code reviews, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing performance improvements.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues, providing timely resolutions and ensuring the smooth operation of backend systems.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Java Backend Developer with at least 3 years of hands-on development experience.
Strong proficiency in Java programming language and its related frameworks, such as Spring or Hibernate.
In-depth knowledge of backend development principles, including RESTful APIs, server-side architecture, and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle).
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Understanding of software development best practices, including code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and debug complex backend issues.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
Proactive attitude, self-motivated, and willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
