DevOps Architect

Well, our Client offers just that☺︎We are seeking a talented DevOps Architect to join our team and play a key role in building platforms and frameworks that enable consistent, verifiable, and automated management of applications and infrastructure across non-production and production environments. As a DevOps Architect, you will be part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary Cluster focused on driving Service Optimization and embracing new technology trends that redefine IT, business and user service.

Working within a high-impact team, you will have the opportunity to continuously learn and explore new technologies, collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the research and experimentation process. We are looking for candidates with extensive hands-on DevOps experience in designing, building and delivering high-quality Digital Applications.

You will be an individual contributor in the role of DevOps Architect, contributing to the Service Optimization Cluster within the Digital Business Automation global function. The team is responsible for defining and implementing critical product and service strategies, ensuring their availability, recoverability and security across the organization.

● Establish continuous build environments to accelerate software development
● Identify and address setbacks and deficiencies in current DevOps practices, proposing improvements
● Develop and lead a DevOps strategy to reduce development time and deliver high-quality software
● Take the lead in DevOps-related activities within the platform
● Create suitable DevOps channels and foster a Community of Practice within the Cluster and Platform
● Design efficient and comprehensive DevOps practices
● Manage and review technical operations
● Guide the SRE/DevOps team in ensuring efficient and consistent use of CI/CD tools and DevOps methodologies
● Provide regular and meaningful management information on DevOps adoption within the Cluster and platform
● Analyze designs, identify issues, and provide product solutions related to coding, programming and integration activities
● Drive continuous delivery improvement by automating testing and deployment pipelines for faster solutions


Must have
● Experience in infrastructure management and monitoring
● Working knowledge of automation service provisioning and middleware configuration
● Strong knowledge of DevOps Platform tooling, such as Chef, Puppet and Docker
● Proficiency in DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, Ansible and others for continuous integration
● Familiarity with Microservice architectures and Event-driven architectures
● Strong analytical skills

Good to have
● Experience in integration using and building APIs
● Knowledge of Kubernetes Cluster management and orchestration, as well as Containers-as-a-Service (CaaS)
● In-depth technical understanding of system architectures, including technical, data, application and network architectures
● Familiarity with container-based virtualization technology
● Proficiency in navigating complex issues, handling partnerships and stakeholder interactions
● Certification in one of the major cloud vendors (AWS, Azure, GCP) would be an added advantage
