We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:

Test Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with developers, architects, testers, and the wider organisation to define, review software testing framework for the project.
- Design, develop & implement automation testing process and environment for different types of testing e.g., unit, integration, acceptance etc
- Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and implement test plans, test cases, automated test and improve test coverage
- Develop and maintain test scripts, automation programs and test environments
- Proactively work with teams to execute tests, analyse results, and improve processes and tools
- Develop performance metrics for regular reporting
- Work in an agile CI/CD environment to enable rapid, automated testing for each release
- Be an active member of a team, participating in sprint planning, peer reviews and in testing code through automated test scripting
- Want to learn and grow on the job

Requirements:

- Experience in test automation tooling such as Cucumber, Selenium, JUnit
- Experience in setting up UAT test automation for Javascript/HTML web applications
- Experience with CI/CD tooling and automated deployment tools
- Experience using collaboration tools: Bitbucket, Jira and Confluence
- Strong technical and analytical troubleshooting skills
- Experience in working with Agile including the use of Jira/ Confluence.
- Understanding of Microservices
- Good interpersonal skills
- English (B2+)
