We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:

Credit Risk Senior Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Delivery BAU IFRS9 processes relation to regions and group including control monitoring and review
• Support impairment simulations and analysis and speed up the analysis process using ‘out of the box’ ideas on solution development
• Support development of new credit analysis solutions using analytics tools like SAS, SQL, Python and MI tools like QlikSense, Tableau or similar
• Ability to effectively work with global and regional teams in risk, finance and relevant transformation functions where needed

Requirements:

•  Work experience in financial institution of 2+ years
•  Bachelor’s degree in numerate subject or IT, e.g. mathematics/ statistics/ economics or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred
•  Previous experience in credit risk or Finance
•  Strong communication skills and out of box thinking is essential
•  Basic knowledge of SAS programming (SAS Base, SAS Enterprise Guide) and/or SQL and/or python and/or R
•  Intermediate/Strong Excel skills
•  Business knowledge of credit and market risk will be preferred
•  Experience with data quality issues and mitigation
•  Analytical thinking (ability to draw conclusions / critical insights from data)
