We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:

Senior Finance Manager


- Key member in delivering Operational Accounting responsibilities as well as key ALCM procedures and controls required
- Perform and supervise the activities of the Team which is critical for business to meet their business objectives
- Perform and supervise month-end closing process and consolidation activities
- Perform and supervise Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Support and drive required processes set up by dedicated Project Team
- Perform internal controls and review work prepared by the team
- Ensure accuracy and data integrity in the end-to-end financial and regulatory reporting process by compliance with the internal control requirements and assessing the adequacy in the changing environment
- Continually work on improving the level of automation by working closely within and across teams to identify solutions to improve the timeliness and accuracy of the reporting and minimize manual
- Continually asses the operational risk inherent in the process, taking account of changing operational procedures, staff movements, legal and regulatory requirements
- Working across departments to ensure provision of a consistent, joined- up view to the business
- Supporting the company directors/management in the understanding and analysis of the financial data produced
- Liaising with audit queries


Experience :
- Min. 6 years relevant accounting/reporting experience
- People management of Finance Team will be a plus
- Banking/Insurance/Financial Services/Structured Finance industry experience will be an asset
- Project management experience

Knowledge :
- University degree in finance related discipline
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS and IAS
- Professional qualifications (CIMA/ACCA) will be a plus
- Knowledge of Banking regulations
- Knowledge of Structured Finance and Securitisation entities
- Understanding of GL systems and reporting software
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel (VBA/Python will be plus)
