We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:

Chief Technology Officer

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a CTO (Chief Technology Officer) who will be our technology leader and play an integral role in leading the company’s IT, development and future growth. During your journey, you will have the opportunity to oversee overall technology development of fintech solutions to grow the company beyond the competition.

Responsibilities :
- Identify, compare, select and implement technology solutions to meet current and future needs of Company's customers and product
- Lead the strategy and teams for product and technology development
- Represent the technological agenda in staff meetings
- Develop, track and control the development of roadmaps and budgets
- Create overall technology standards and practices and ensure adherence
- Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics
- Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture
- Keep abreast of best practices in the technology landscape
- Push the mobile and web products beyond the dreams of our customers and competitors

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role, 5+ years management experience
- Background in Computer Science or similar relevant field
- Experience in program coding and development (have you coded something on yourself?)
- In-depth knowledge of frontend apps, backend systems architecture, design and development
- Upscaling of existing architecture to adopt growing traffic of customers and transactions
- Hands on experience with complex project management 
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Effective organizational and time-management skills
- Proactive problem solving
- Technologies: Java
