We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:

Business Manager

Responsibilities:

- Provide support, expertise and consultancy to Global Head of Data Platforms, Data Platforms team members and Head of Enterprise Services Business Management
- Workforce Management for the Data Platforms function (Resource Management, including by run the bank and change the bank taxonomy, Timesheet Management and Tracking)
- Financial AOP Planning (Zero Based Budget) and ongoing updates
- Financial Tracking including review of accruals
- Driving the Unit Rate setting activity for Data Platforms
- Global contracts and associated recoveries
- Timesheet, billing and recharge Accuracy
- RTB/CTB Tracking
- gPDM billable product Ownership
- Regular reviews of forecasting tools
- Oversight of IT Cost Management requests
- Interface with Data Platforms team members, Enterprise Services Business Management, Department Cost Management teams in order to understand, manage, analyse, progress and report on the function’s business performance accountabilities
- Coordinate and deliver effective MI to support decision making at key stakeholder meetings and Data Platforms management meetings
- Contribution to a high performance culture through close team collaboration and adoption of collective responsibility
- Use professional knowledge to identify and champion new, innovative or improved best practice

Requirements:

- IT financial planning and cost management policy, processes and tools
- HOST shared services, unit rate setting, billing and cost recovery concepts
- IT headcount management processes and associated tools
- Understanding of IT Infrastructure Delivery global operating model
- Excellent numeracy and MS Excel skills
- An ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences. Powerpoint skills essential
- Ability to work accurately under pressure to tight deadlines
- Qualifications or prior experience in Finance/Business Studies would be beneficial
