Business Information Risk Officer

Obowiązki:

  • Business Information Risk Officers (BIRO) are responsible for understanding/managing Information Risks along with overseeing the management of all Information Security Risk policies, processes and projects collectively to ensure that proportionate and effective information security controls are established and maintained across the function. Role holders will carry out activities that will include most of the following:
  • Directly influence the operational effectiveness of the functional/functional unit
  • Co-ordinate and manage projects. Typically, works on large, moderately complex projects/assignments
  • Management responsibility for a team, including people, objective setting and performance
  • Support decisions through advice, counsel or services in area of specialisation
  • Accountable for delivery against prescribed targets, budgets and resourcing and responsible for volume, quality, and timeliness of end results
  • Act as initial point of escalation for team members
  • Adhere to and actively support established policies and procedures in own team
  • Support change initiatives and embed change initiatives within own team

Wymagania:

  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience in data management, information security or a related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Financial Services (Banking, Wealth Management, and Capital Markets) business processes and resultant information security needs : client, risk, regulatory, finance etc.
  • Proven project and risk management capabilities with a focus on resolving complex problems
  • Working knowledge of applicable security/risk concepts and methodologies
  • Knowledge and understanding of the financial, operational, technical and regulatory drivers impacting a complex and dynamic global technology environment
  • Good knowledge of their departments/business, including the information held, information flows, data processing, key business processes and key application used
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
  • Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment
  • Experience identifying key risk issues, involve affected parties, design solutions, obtain buy-in, and communicate effectively through resolution
  • Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Experience developing and executing communication strategies by collaborating with large, matrixed teams
  • Ability to deliver concise time critical information to all levels of management, technology and business teams
  • Not required but desired:
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong Powerpoint skills
  • Knowledge of Apptio
  • Experience in developing reports
