Scala Developer

Obowiązki:

  • You will join a new Krakow-based team of 6 – Finance Liquidity IT Team which, in close collaboration with Product Owner, will take the ownership over the development and support process of a key regulatory system. It’s used to manage the capital of the company.
  • The Platform processes vast amount of financial market trade transactions, feeds and events throughout the investment bank and consolidates them onto Big Data architecture. It’s used by global teams of 500 Finance Controllers and Liquidity Managers, therein 180 collocated in Krakow office.
  • The project is challenging not only from the engineering point, as it aims to consolidate data from complex various sources into one platform, but it also requires to acquire in-depth banking domain knowledge.
  • Key Accountabilities:
  • You and your teammates are responsible for all aspects of delivering software to your users i.e. ­
  • Development ­
  • Automating testing and deployment of small and frequent releases ­
  • Speaking to product owner and business on features and requirements ­
  • Production availability of your service - if you build a service you own the service

Wymagania:

  • Passion about technology and innovation
  • Extensive knowledge of Scala
  • Experiences with Test driven development methodologies such as Junit & BDD
  • Ability to solve complex problems and propose solutions
  • Not required but desired:
  • Exposure to Hadoop, Spark
  • Practical Java experience
